Revenue Specialist

Your Revenue Specialist is familiar with their clients and understands the goals for their properties. Our Revenue Specialists are dedicated to providing you with the best service available in the electronic reservation market. You will not be a ‘number’ to our staff. You will be a client that we know and that we make a real effort to understand.
Your Revenue Specialist will feel like a member of your staff. Your Revenue Specialist’s responsibilities include:
- Start-up Tasks -Works with designated property revenue manager to gather information and load property into GDS booking channels. Develops and/or fine-tune property’s current third party internet booking channel strategy. Reviews property website and proposes marketing techniques to drive more bookings through the IBE channel. Reviews future bookings and proposed ‘full dates’ on a one-year outlook basis to maximize revenue opportunities for the coming year.
- Daily Tasks -Makes any requested changes to availability, rates, rate types, property information or inventory in the ResNet back office system as requested by property through the utilization of company authorized transmittal forms. All requested changes are made to the above listed items within 24 hours of receiving transmittals. Immediate or urgent requests shall be identified by the property through direct phone communication with the revenue specialist accompanied by authorized transmittal forms.
- Monthly Tasks -Makes contact with designated property revenue manager to discuss on-going rate and inventory strategy, current booking status, billing, general market trends.
- Semi-Annual Tasks -Reviews GDS/CRS property strategy and makes recommendations to property that will enhance their overall electronic reservation program.
- Annual Tasks - Works with designated property revenue manager on RFP strategy and implementation. In the fourth quarter of each contract calendar year meets with designated hotel revenue manager to establish rate and availability strategies for anticipated ‘full dates’ for the following contract year. Reviews current year-to-date performance and looks for opportunities to improve in the following year.
